I just bought a Kodiak Magnum from a garage sale (you might have seen my post under "paint removal") It is a right handed 45# bow. It is covered in some ugly camo paint right now but not for long. I believe the bow is green underneath the paint. The coin is a raised one and it is silver in color. I don't have any pics right now but does anyone have any idea on how I can age it based on the above info?

Green Futurewood riser with a raised medallion 1974+ all the way.

Wasn't it 1973 when they raised the medallion and went to green futurewood?

Raised = late 1972 and on.

yeah it is green futurewood and the coin is raised. How long did they keep this setup in production?

The later ones like 1977 had green and blue futurewood overlays which I like. The ones like 1973 to 1976 had white fiberglass overlays/tips. I really have no idea what the mags looked like in the 1980s. Anyone know?
