Too much time left, and too high a starting price, and not original.

I am by no means a purist when it comes to collecting, but those are just my limited observations-my 2 cents.

Someone will buy it-I'd be interested if I had the money to spare.

Done.  Been looking for one in that weight range.

It's not original and for some reason the 64"ers aren't that popular.  I like em, but I have a 30" draw.

I have a 46# '55... one of the oddballs in my small collection in that it's not in my normal weight range.  Great shooter though!

This one doesn't show the decals, but looking at the shelf I'd think it's a '56, isn't doc?

I just had a few questions answered by the seller.  It is a '56 and it sounds like the only refinishing that was done was to replace the wrap and strike plate.  I'll let y'all know how it shoots  :)

Sounds good, when I read "refinished" I thought the worst scenario.  Hope it is a shooter!

Got the bow yesterday.  Tips look like new and the limbs are as straight as the day it came off the form.  The back glass only has a few stress marks - can't even feel them with a fingernail.  The belly has a good amount of stress though, enough that I'm going to refinish the bow.  It's sound, but I want to make 'em disappear and fill 'em with CA glue to ensure they don't get worse.
I love the way the old Kodiaks load up during the draw.  For $127 shipped I think I got a deal.

I took my 55K for a short walk this afternoon.  It had probably not been in the woods for 20-30 years and I thought it probably needed some fresh air.  

I recently refinnished it, so it's protected adequately from the elements.  Was hoping to slip up on an unsuspecting white-tail but none were seen.  The bow is so light in the hand it's almost like not carrying anything at all.  60" 48#.

As Doc always says, Gotta Love Em !!!!!

Trap, that is a beauty job on the bow-turned out excellent! And your Nimrod is to die for! You have been busy.

Thanks for the kind words Bjorn, I need to make a cap for the quiver. I doubt I'll ever find one.  Probably more rare than a Leather Belt Pouch.  

Hint Hint, when are you going to show that baby off?
