I'm sure this ? has been asked here before, please excuse me if it's repetitive.
I have a few vintage bows that are in nice shape, but have no room to display them :( just wondering how you guys store your old bows, any tricks or secrets to keeping them in good shape??
Thanks
Chuck

I like to put pegs up and display the bows with the string on the bottom limb and hang the bows by the string that is slid over the upper limb. I also have some resting on pegs horizontily.

A bow rack on the wall is good. I have stored them unstrung under the bed at times. Don't store them unstrung with the string around the tips, or leaning in the corner.

I made some bow racks, a couple different styles.

Check out the big auction site 110286811620
I built 2 racks using a similar design....best I've found so far.

Chuck asked; ".... no room to display them just wondering how you guys store your old bows." As I understand his question, racks won't work.
I have the same problem, Chuck. I have about 150+/- in my collection and over the years, have made or purchased soft bow socks for all of them - mostly fleece. I stack them on their side in 2'Wx2'Hx8'L storage shelfs .... yep, in the garage. As long as you don't jam them in and just let them find their own comfort position, I have had no problem with warped limbs or bruising.

I like to look at my boys from time to time, even take them out for a test drive now and again. I wish I had all my bows in one place...
