What can you tell me about this bow. After handling one at Denton this year. I was impressed with the grip area, SWEET !! I could of taken her home. But she had been a little molested in the past.
After seeing Rich's custom 61 camo leaves I'm hooked LOL.

'61 Grizzly is a good bow with a pretty good sized fan club. They are good shooters, and do carry a bit of collectible value. The camo models were original not as desired, but 46 years later they seem to be preferred to the regular Grizzlys.

I have a 50# that I really like. Not a speed demon by any means but shoots like the other 62 inch Grizzlies. Smooth, quiet, and stable.
I think the 62" Grizzlies offer about the most bang for your buck in Vintage bows. Because they say Grizzly and not Kodiak many collectors look past them.
I turkey hunted with mine this past spring and the Camo just felt "right". Nice bows.

That's good news, I'm looking for one in the 50# range :bigsmyl: I know what you mean, the camo just felt right.

It;s one thing to run across one, like you did at Denton Hill. It's a whole 'nother program to be on a quest for one.
Good luck.

Jack,
Yep... If it would have been more weight and better taken care of. She would of left with me.

I bought one once for $20. Still have that old bow. A 45# lefty.
