Hi, guys.
I got this old quiver with a bow I bought. It is a single bolt quiver that has leather . . . well . . . take a look at it. You guys know a lot more than me.
Age? I presume it was for bolting on to the 50's Bears.
What should be under that electrical tape?

I don't know, prob from the 50's. Under the tape should be the leather cap.

Sometimes called the slab quiver....early 50's prior to the 4 arrow...should have a leather cap under the tape.....purty nice....bowdoc

I think I'm going to pull the tape off and see what is hiding . . . or is that a bad choice? Should I leave that for a true collector rather than a user like me?

Steve, you have several inquiries about the classified add you have for the quiver. Trap

When I bought this quiver, it was with a 70's Grizzly. I guess the guy had gotten rid of the older bow because he said he couldn't remember what had happened to it.
This quiver is going to a guy's father in law who loves Bear stuff. I'm glad it is going to a good place. My wife is even happier.
