Title: Bear bow built-in sight aperture
Post by: rheubach on June 19, 2008, 04:47:00 PM
Hi all,

Do any of you have an idea on where I could lay my hands on one of those integrated Bear bow sight apertures?

Thanks.

Randy

When you lay your hands on it then what?
Which riser do you need it for   A    B   C ?
You want the whole kit and kaboodle or just the round pins? With the brush rest or the adjustable side plate?.

Please excuse my terminology (or "terminal"?) ignorance and unclarity.

The sight I'm looking for is for a mid-60's Bear recurve, the kind that came built into the sight windows on later Tamerlanes, Polars, etc, that tend to pull or fall out and disappear possibly never to be recovered -- presumably what happened to my refinish project.  The bow I need one for is a Tamerlane HC 300. The scale is intact, but the circular sight insert is absent.

Thanks for whatever help you can offer.

Randy

There are some listed on ?-bay under bear sight pin, says they are for a takedown, might check just to be sure

I wonder if Jeffery Archery might not have one or two tucked away in the back room somewhere...hmmm.

Thanks, Snakeeater.  I'll give it a try.
