anybody use a double bull during the winter months, its easy to conceal during foliage months with lots of leaves, but when the woods are a little bare, any suggestion guys
I used a early downed oak limb that had a llot of green leaves on when it fell and they stayed long into winter... just brown. Lay it over the top and it helped.
Also read where a guy took the "stand" part of a music stand and put it all the way up to brace the roof... AFTER snow fell and broke the wands with the weight..now it stays up and doesn't collapse. FWIW
I used mine in the now earlier in the season. I still like to use pine or hemlock trees to back up to and some limbs to break up the roof line. If it is snowing that will also help to conceal the blind. They do make a white cover to go over the blind, you have to cut out the window openings yourself. I thing it was around $80. I have been considering it for predator hunting with the bow.

I have a blind but it is not a Double Bull. I have an old white parachute that I throw over it in the snow.
The Double Bull Pro Staff 5 works great in the winter. You can ice fish and hunt at the same time.
