Title: DIDN'T KNOW THIS EVEN EXISTED
Post by: PAPALAPIN on June 09, 2008, 02:14:00 PM
On the auction site there is a 6PM Hoyt PRo Medalist.  I was under the assumption the the 5PM was the last model.  I learn something new everyday.  Does anyone have any infor on the 6PM's.

It is my understnading te the 4PM's were the last of the true rosewood models.  The 5PM's are supposedly dyed maple.  They certainly are just as pretty as the true rosewood.

Anyone know what the risers on the  6PM's are made of?

Are there any models past the 6PM series?

Does anyone have the info of what years correspond to the PM, 2PM, 3PM, 4PM, 5PM, 6PM, etc...?

what about the PMH series?

RICH

I knew you knew about the PMH models.  We have discussed them before.

I would still like to get  a grip on the years of the various PM's

PM  =____

2PM =____

3PM =____

4PM =____

5PM =____

6PM = 1966

Can anyone fill in the rest of the blanks?

I can't believe the 62# ?PM went for only $127.50.  I was going t obid higher but I got it confused with another PM that went for abou $187.00.  I did not want t og othat high.

I did not think they necessarily changed with the year.  I thought it was with model changes, being that one model may go unchanged for a couple of years or more.

I was under the impression that he 5PM did not come out until the really late '60's or early '70's.

That's why I love this place.  Learn something new every day.  I certainly take away from here more than I contribute.

When did they come out with the PM Takedowns with the metal risers?
