1969 was mostly Shedua. Having said that, yours is Tigerwood aka Goncalo Alves which was used on several models - namely the Grizzly and Bearcat in 1968. I have a beautiful example of the 68 Grizzly and Bearcat. Yours is also a little less common black overlay variety. Beautiful wrong-handed bow! :p CKruse

The bows not mine. It's on the big auction site now. Beautiful wrong-handed bow. I agree

Yep, I just ran across it. He's pretty proud of it too! I think the seller would look a little more competent if he would turn the Hoyt rest right side up! :knothead: CKruse

That and ease up on the starting bid :knothead:

Trap, if you look closely it's actually a LH rest, but it's upside down!

Cmon Now, that's a RH rest. The pat pend is below the Hoyt Symbol. And the little triangular piece of nylon is what the arrow sat on. I think.

You are right Trap, the short arm is what the arrow sits on. I was reversing which was which. Right handed rest on a left handed bow! CKruse
