Rescued this one from the wall of a Machine Shed. Cleaned up quite nice with a little of Bowdoc's Magic Formula.
I included a pic with a 59 K beside the beast just to show how big this riser really is.

Nice Trap Very Nice! My wife shoots a Lady Sovereign
looks like the same year. Good bow with a lot of cast.
-
Wow! You could make several bows from that. It must be very stable for target and 3D.

Unusually dark rosewood for a Soverirgn. Mine are more of the redish rosweood. I wonder if that is the difference between Indian and Brazillian Rosewood.
I have two Lord Mercurys and a Lady Mercury. They are fine shooting bows.
I think the only difference between a Lord Sovereigh and a Lord Mercury is that the Lord Soverrign does not have the mercury capsils.

Where can I find a machine shed?

Wow, thats a nice job Trap!!! great rescue, when you say Bow Docs magic formula, isn't that elbow grease sand paper and true oil and midnight sun?, or have you guys been holding out???
-
No true oil on this one, that's all original.
I recently obtained some of his Bow Polish. Dont know what's in it but it works.

Cool find, you'd need a little arm strength to hold that baby up. Hows she shoot?
-
It shoots okay. I've never shot bows of that weight so it seems kinda doggy and I dont have arrows that match it very well.
It is dead in the hand though, that's for sure.
I'm not into target bows but I couldnt let it hang there and let flys poop on it anymore :bigsmyl:

The "fly poop" might be what has kept it so well preserved. You should go back to the shop, scoop up as much as you can, and apply it as a protective coat for all of your bows.
If it works, you might have a new natural product to offer to all of us for protecting our collections. Just don't tell us what it is.

Now that's a thought :bigsmyl:
