Title: how to remove tape residue on a leather quiver
Post by: wadde on May 30, 2008, 09:40:00 PM
Here is my question- You have a nice vintage all leather quiver that someone put masking tape on it all over years ago. For what reason is unknown as the quiver is in good condition. The tape is old and brittle and comes off easily. However it leaves behind the glue residue. What is the best way to remove the residue without hurting the leather finish? What have you all used in this situation to get this 50 year old glue residue off without affecting the color of the dark leather? I think your answers will be helpful to many members here.

maybe some saddle soap, or if the glue is that old you might just get away with using some warm water and soap take it off.  Tim
