Post by: bkupris on May 24, 2008, 10:57:00 AM
Any guesses on how far this one is going to go?

I would say about $350 or so

Item Number: 300227235360 on the auction site

Some Hardcore Herte's collectors may go for it, but other than that I am surprised it is at $250.00 with 6 bids.

I like the way he listed it.  Start bid of $9.95 and no reserve,  Let the bidders set the price.

He has cahonies. to start it off like that

Herters made their own bows, not sure about the metal handles though?

I wouldn't say they are rare but not too many of the metal handles around as far as I can tell.
