I picked up a very nice Bear Polar. It has this written on the riser, Bear Polar 21BB89 66" 43#, white glass (yellowed),brown orange riser wood, and zebra wood Ibeam. What can you all tell me about this bow. I though Polars were kind of plain, this one is very pretty.
Take care, Brad

I can't tell you much, mine is yellow glass with zebra wood, pictures would get you more responses,if not, start with what color is the coin? is it flush to the riser? I love mine for plinking in the back yard.

Sounds like a 1963 or 1964 with a bubinga riser and zebrawood I-beam in the sight window.

And the catalog lists yellow glass too.
