Title: No really related but..........
Post by: RGK on April 05, 2008, 11:20:00 PM
I was wondering if any of the vintage folks here happen to be coin or currency collectors?? The reason I ask is because I came across this today.

I have no idea what a vintage bill like this is worth (above it's currency value) Does anybody here know anything about this sort of thing? Or can perhaps point me towards somebody that does?

The seal says Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Virginia. I did learn that the words above the seal mean Silver when it refers to "lawful Money"

I think that Andrew Jackson shot a longbow at one time.

Yes, those Seminoles and their cane arrows sure gave the early Spaniards fits...as well as Andy.
