My dad recently bought an old Kodiak magnum that's in perfect condition, with a one-piece dark brown, slightly figured riser wood, and gray glass limbs with a slightly yellowed finish. It has a flush gold coin, with the white overlays on the riser and tips.
serial #9U8730
35# @28"
Could someone please tell me about what year this bow is? I'm guessing early 60's. Hopefully I'll get pics up tomorrow.
Thanks,
Zane

It is 1969.The first digit in the serial # is the last digit of yr.of manufacture. This is only for Bear bows in the 60's,not shure when it started and when it stopped.I THINK it is from 1965,66,67,68,69.
