i own a damon howatt r/h ventura 40# @28 ventura. it has markings HV 0136 AMO 66 I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT YHIS BOW IT WAS MY DADS.

Hi Danny,is it a white fiberglass model ? I would also say from the serial number it was manufactured sometime after 1968.... I see you posted HV 0136 AMO-66...the letters AMO did not appear on bows until after 1968 and the founding of the Archery Manufactures Org.keep me posted bowdoc

Value today could range from around 100.00-175.00 maybe 200-ish.....Those are really good shooting bows too.bowdoc

i wish it was a lh one.i've shot it quite a bit over the years until i got the lh bp hunter that i'm trying to get all outfitted a piece at a time

Does it have a vertical accent stripe?  If it does, it's a 1990.  Howatt started the vertical stripe in 1984, so the next possibility from the serial number you provided is 1990.  If it DOES NOT, it could be a 1970 or 1980.  If it's a 1970, it will have "sharp" contours, while a 1980 will be more fluid.  Kinda hard to explain, but if you could post a pic, I could tell you more accurately.
