I have been told you can tell the year of a 70's Super K by the color of the stripe (Red, Blue). If a Super K has the gray "futurewood" with the blue stripe and blue accents - what year span are we talking about? Once we get the span figured out - any way to be more precise?
Thanx.

If I don't confuse something we are talking 1976 - and only 1976 ...
Now for the serial numbers!
What can anybody tell me about a Super K with serial starting with SK instead of KZ, but having a blue stripe and blue future wood overlays on the riser and of course blue tips?!

Wow - that makes it easy. Thanx Falk.

The 75 super kodiak had black and white glass overlays on the front of the riser with a blue stripe. The 76 super kodiak had no overlays on the front of the riser and had a blue stripe. Both were 60 inches and both were futurewood risers. Both had black glass on the limbs. Hope this helps.
