I think your bow was built in 1967 rather then 1976.Wing did serial numbers that way for a short time...........I also believe that T-bird was long gone from production before 1976..bowdoc

I agree with bowdoc. A picture would help here, but a couple of questions; 1) Is the bow black wood or black phenolic. Wood with that SN range would probably be the 67-maybe 68 (I don't have a 68 catalog). The 67-68 data was also written with gold ink. Phenolic was 69-70 with data written with white ink. After that, they went back to wood with different S/N characteristic. 2) If it has "A Division of Head Ski Company, Inc." written under the logo, it's a 69-70 bow.

Kelly, to summarize from the pics you sent to me in an email, the bow is a Wing Thunderbird 62", 53#@28, Serial # T7-3276 written in white ink, is an all black phenolic (called "bowflex") bow, with no quiver inserts and is made by Wing Archery but not Head ski nor AMF. I beleive that it is a late 1968 early 1969 just before Wing was sold to Head Ski. They were located in Jacksonville, TX. You can find a bow just like it in the Wing Catalog X which I believe to be 1969, however, Catalog X was put out by Wing Head Ski, so it had to be before that catalog came out.
1970 and later, the company was owned by AMF. they began putting quiver inserts in the back of the bow riser. 1970 bows were bowflex and a S/N characterized by TAXXXX.
Anybody have a 1968 Wing catalog ?
Hope that helps.
