Hello Folks !
Well here is one for the Old Ben P Fans.
What I'm after is perhaps a Model or ???
68" Long Bow.
Appears to be about a 50 lb Pull.
Shoots well,draws smooth but handshock is...well apparent ! ;)
The Logo looks to be from the 1939-1945 timeline ?
These are the best pics I could muster and Thanks for any Help !

I don't know if you've come across these websites in your searches, but take a look at them. I have a bow close to this, backed with what I think is white fortisan, that scales out right around 30#. The decal on it is the same as the 1942-1945 picture.
I am thinking your general time frame is right, but personally wouldn't be able to get it much closer with what I've come across on the internet. Hopefully someone out there has more experience with the older Ben Pearson bows.
I am thinking not as much has been written about them because they are not as popular as the old Bear bows--then again that is why you can still get them at decent prices.

I believe the glass backing on these bows came out around 1948, 1949. In the 50's plastic rests became common.
