I have a chance to purchace this for $150. By looking at the picture can anyone tell me what the brand name is or who may have made it. Probably a stupid question but I will ask it anyways. This was the add from Kijiji that I got it from ""This is a beautiful, professionally-made English style longbow. It has been tested, but never used for practice or competition. It is made of red oak and backed with linen. It has a 30-35 pound pull, depending on arm length"" (http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh96/easternfisher/untitled.jpg) Thanks Dave from Nova Scotia, Canada

I'd stay away from that.

LOTS of people are making linen backed red oak "bows"... some are actually well tillered and decent weapons, but many I've seen aren't worth the price of the board they were made from. You can buy this type of bow on eB*y for $55-65
