Title: What year is this 60# Bear?

Just curious. A 60# Cub.  I have narrowed it down to between 1953 and 1956, but thought someone may be able to narrow it further.  Thanks.

1955 and 1956 have two shelfs, 53 or 54

I should add this one has no shelf cut into the wood, but uses a leather? wedge under the handle.

I would then say 55 or 56 as the shelf could be easily moved to either side.

1955 with the water transfer decals, a 1956 would have silk screens.
