Title: Tamerline Questions
Post by: 702plmo on November 20, 2007, 07:02:00 PM
I just aquired an old Bear Tamer Lane.   There are no weight or no length markings on the bow.   "Display" is stamped on  side of the riser.  This bow is a litle rough bot not bad shape.    It looks to be about 68 inch unstrung.
What would you collectors guess the draw weight to be.

I would like to get a date on the bow so I will add pictures later.    Thanks

SOMETIMES...  Bear would stamp the draw weight under where the rest goes.  If you remove the rest, it may be there, or it may not and you will have removed the rest for nothing.

By the way, the correct name of the bow is TAMERLANE.  One word.  Named after the father of Gingis Kahn.

A pic would help, but if it has a serial number the first number in it is the year in the '60's.

196?
