Title: wsnl?
Post by: matt smith on October 25, 2007, 07:15:00 PM
hey guys, a friend of mine found his grandad's old bow. It has been in his basement for at least 15 years. He is not an archer so i told him i would try to figure out what kind of bow it is. The bow is "stamped" on the back of the bow w.s.n.l 66 54 28. I guess that this means wsnl is the maker & that the bow is 66 inch long, with 54 lbs draw weight @ 28 inches draw length. Does anyone know who possibly made this bow? any help would be great

Sorry Matt, I'm stumped.  I agree with you on the 66=54=28. It is the wsnl that has me unless it is a WESLEY SPECIL NL?.  Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I think Howard Hill made the Wesley Special. if that is what it is.

Is it a recurve or longbow?  Can you post a pic?

Sorry I could not help.
