Title: Recurve Bows
Post by: mfr22 on August 11, 2007, 03:49:00 PM
My son-in-law just recieved 2 like new recurve bows from a friend who's father died and left the bows behind. Neither of us know anything about them, but they look very nice. One is a Ben Pearson Stallion, 62", 28" draw. The other is a Damon Howatt, 54", 60lbs, 28"draw. Can anyone tell me anything about these bows? Are they quality? What are they worth?

I'm guessing they are worth about 100 bucks apiece. They sound like bows made in the 1960s.
If they were stored properly they probably will still shoor fine. A 54" 60 pound Damon Howatt sounds like a lot of bow. Get a stringer, string em up and check for warped limbs.
