Title: Brace Height for a Kodiak Hunter
Post by: Big'n on June 19, 2007, 05:51:00 PM
Could somebody help me with the Brace height on a 60" Kodiak Hunter? Just bought the bow and need some info. What length string do I need? Thanks, DAVE

About 7.5" should be okay. Not exactly sure of the string length.

Is the brace measured from the string to the throat of the handle, like on a modern recurve?

Good question. I'm sure people mesure it both ways. I think you are right, string to throat of handle.

I believe the best spot for this is around 8" to 8.5" on my KH which uses a 56" string.
