Just picked up this K-Mag. Couple of things:
1.) From the Serial # can someone please tell me what year?
2.) I have never seen a Bear with a Serial # ending in a roman numeral (II). Can anyone tell me what that indicates?
Thanks

Looks like a 1964. My favorite year.

I'm no expert, but I think the first number in the serial number is which year it was made in the 60's. Yours starts with a 3, making it a 1963.I don't know what the Roman numeral means. I'm a big fan of Kodiak Mags and I've noticed the ones with the curved line like yours go for the highest dollars on that online auction house. Looks like the orginal plate and rug too. It's a beauty.

It is a 64. The first number trick only applies from 65-69. Wood combinations, glass colors, and trends are what you have to go by on others. I have several from this era with the "II", and I'm not sure what it means. Nice bow.
Take care, CKruse

Thanks fellows. The bow shoots as good as it looks.

I concur with Cameron. 1974. They started the last diget being the year in '65 through '69.
My '64 Kodiaks all start with 2C. In '65 the second digit being a letter would indicate the bow model. Kodiaks were "L", and others had a different letter designation.
Good call Cameron.
