i just got a bear cub long bow 62" 56#w/yellowish glass and no shelf, what year might it be? thanks
-
1953 OR 1954. the bows were the same for both years. It's a neat bow. Shoots as good as any new bow and it has a lot of setback, can be tough to string. I just wish mine were left handed. But for the price I can't gripe.

thanks guys ---i thought it was neat also!and you aren't kidding about the set back rag!i haven'tried to string it yet, but will soon---as for being lefty ,this cub appears to have been owned by a lefty in fact he retrofitted a carefully whittled sewing thread spool under the grip to make a small shelf[real neat] the left one [rightside] was still inserted so i got a matching wood spool and whittled a matching shelf for the right hander shelf[left side] ----i have to go out to my shop to check the decals to nail down the year thanks nolz--raghorn
