I've just purchased a Boyles takedown recurve that was made by Tom Boyles of Monticello, Mississippi. That isn't info I know, it is what I've been told. If anybody knows anything more about this bowyer or his work, please let me know what you have . . .

Are you sure it is TOM?
I knew a John Boyles who used to reside in Philadelphia MS and made bows prior to/during going to med/dental school?
He made me one one of his bows about 10 years ago or so.
Where he is at now or if he is still making bows I do not know.
If you run into a wall you might look him up in the white pages on the net.
Or make this request on the LW as quite a few MS trad guys visit it.

Thanks for the info . . . By LW you mean ***********? I don't have the bow in my hands yet, but the seller told me it was Tom Boyles and that Tom died a year or two ago. That's all I know. I'll keep digging, and when the bow arrives I'll check out the info that is on the bow. I was told that the limbs are interchangable with the Brackenburys. I'm just being anxious. I won't have the bow in my hands for a week or so . . .
