with 49# bow 29 inch arrow ...shooting 2016 or carbons...what would be good choice of 2 blade BH ...Zwickey's really flying well with my A Dynamics lites...when it gets cold I have a harder time with 56 - 60 pound bows...thanks Mark
I will say it before someone else. A SHARP ONE!
:) ....da.... :campfire: :biglaugh:
You will get all kinds of answers to your question. I would use the one your most confident with. Me starting to get up in years will tell you old Bear Greenies. Fly great sharpen great and will kill anything on the planet, the only problem with these is that we have seen these heads forever and there is so many cool designs out there that look meaner and I,m sure do the job just as good.
MAGNUS!!
I'd recommend Zwickey Black Diamonds or Grizzly heads. I shoot both and love 'em.
Don't wish to dispute Warrior but I have had some "issues" with 2 blade Mangus heads before. They have rolled up on the tip when hitting bone. Effective but throw away after one shot.
Good luck.
STOS! Fly great and easy to sharpen. You also have a few weights to choose from.
My favs are STOS and Grizzlies. Both offer great flight-one is a bit more work to sharpen.
I think a lot depend on what your hunting and maybe more importantly the weight you need to make the arrow fly.

Mark:
I shoot TradLites at 29" out of my 50 pound Massie "Longhorn". The Magnus 125 grain and the Bear Razorhead both shoot well with this set up. Total weight with 100 grain insert is approximately 540 grains. After the deer season I will be trying out the Muzzy Phantom 125 grain head on hogs. Of course there is no telling what a lefty like you would have to shoot to hit a target with hair on it. Good luck in your quest and God Bless. :bigsmyl:
I will agree with huntnut, and leave it at that!
I would say a good 3 to 1 singel bevel sharp broadhead....
I get good one from the land of OZ $35 a Dz that includes shipping....
Another vote for MAGNUS
magnus stringers fly GREAT and are easy keep very sharp, but i have had serious issues with them on a black bear and a whitetai, and i have hit nothing but rib's hate to say but i need a different broadhead. i shoot a 49# PSR Black Widow

Why a two blade Marco? Shawn
If the Zwickies fly well I would shoot them. Great head IMO.
Yup, use the Zwickey.
Steve
I'm useing an Ace super express 200gr 2 blade, I havn't connected with a deer yet. But they are easy to sharpen with a accusharp and the seem to hold up when they hit the ground when I'm shooting foam balls.
Ace, Magnus, Zwickey.... All great broadheads. Never tried a STOS. Try them out and see which one sharpens and flys best FOR YOU. If you want a Magnus or an Ace to play with, PM me.
I have pack of tree sharks w/ bleeders to shot too.
If the Zwickeys are flying well...what's the problem?...those heads have stood the test of time....and have been IMPROVED over time.
Treeshark! What an awesome hole they make. Mine fly great with my footed cedars. I'm probably right about 49# at my draw with my Zipper recurve.
magnus or grizzly
Zwicky or Eclipes
Which ever one YOU have the most confidence in AND can get the sharpest
Good luck!!
I've shot them for 17 years now and find it extremely hard to even try out another head. 2 blade zwickey eskimo's!
