102 days until I leave for my first ever bear hunt. I have been shooting almost every day. With my recyrve and wheels. Nailing my targets at 10, 20 (with recurve),and 30, and 40 (with wheels) from the ground and from a tree. My bow shots will be 20 yards or less and at that range it is starting to get expensive with torn fletching and busted arrows. I have bought all my supplies (except bug suit - may not get one), money is sitting in savings, Encore is sighted in if I need it. I have bought and read 4 bear books at least 3 times each, watched my bear dvd's a bazillion times, and practiced my honey burns and have it down.
Needless to say 102 days seems a long way off. What do you guys do when you have a big hunt months down the road? It is like waiting on Christmas again.
