You will need,
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can condensed cream of celery soup
1 can condensed cream of onion soup
1 can water
1 medium onion, chopped
3 stalks of celery, chopped
2 lbs venison of your choice, cut into 1" chunks
Put all soups and water in Dutch oven; mix well. Stir in venison, onion and celery. Heat to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 1/2-2 hours, until tender. Serve over rice or noodles. Enjoy!

Plenty left over for the thermos I take when hunting coyotes too!!! good stuff and where I'm a big worcestershire sauce fan I added a few dabs of that and a bunch of whole mushrooms in mine I was in heaven..

Did anyone making this recipe brown their meat first? Or do You just throw it together?
Going to give it a try.

Well I didn't get this made until Sunday. Man was it good. I made it in the crock pot. I think it made quite a bit of extra liquid from the meat and the covered cooker.
Next time I'll use the dutch oven or leave out the can of water. I think it would thicken as it cooked in the dutch oven much better. Give it a try.

I give this a try and 'WOW' was it GOOOOD. I did alter the recipe a wee bit. I soaked my meat in a ginger-ale bath for about 3 hours before cooking. I used ol fashion dumpling noodles. the wife has been saying she is getting tired of red meat all the time BUT, she didn't complain this evening.
thanks for the great recipe

I didn't mention in my post but I poured it over the egg noodles in the other pan and a fork was all you needed!

So I had 3 phesants thawed and did this to them. They were GREAT. Served the meat over rice and it was plate licking good. Thanks, J.Michael
