Title: Anyone use howard hill's sharpening method?
Post by: Michael Peschek on November 26, 2007, 03:25:00 PM
I was browsing three rivers archery yesterday and found this,   Howard Hill Sharpening Method (http://www.3riversarchery.com/images/misc/SharpeningHowardHillHeads.jpg)
So I was just curious if anyone did this and what your experiences are with it.

Michael...as you are gonna see, there are a lot of ways to sharpen an arrow.  "Sharp", and "sharp enough" mean diffent things to different people.   I believe you should find a method that you can easily perform on your chosen broadheads, get them as sharp as you feel comfortable with and go hunting.

I remember watching that video series before and I still cringe every time I see him rub that blade with his thumb.
