1/2 c or more lard or shortening
1 lb or so of ground venison
1 onion
1/4 c or so flour
salt
garlic powder
crushed red pepper
black pepper
1 qt or so milk
Melt lard in a skillet, add diced onion and venison. Brown. Put the lard, browed venison & onion in a pot. Add all the remaining ingredients, except the milk. Blend well. Pour in the milk and place on medium heat, stirring until desired consistency is reached. Serve over fried taters, toast or biscuits.

Sounds like a awesome camp fire dish, when you are in the bush and just got something ( with a nice chunk of fresh backstrap)....sure beats eating soup and beans, hehehe.
