You are talking about the Transformer????? My wife and I use them and they seem to be fine. I took all the hardware off of hers as she doesn't need the D rings for the linemans's belt. I left them on mine since it makes hanging stands easy....very easy. We generaly wear them under our top layer of clothing just so it is not in the way...not that it would be but it makes it easier to get at pockets in your jacket, for example. Haven't fallen with one yet so can't tell you how they work in that situation. We've been using them for several seasons and like them. Very simple to put on, as well. No tangles and if you want to spend the $$$$ you can get packs and other accessories that attach to it. We did not want to go that route and I think I remember removing all the accessory attachment thingies.

I agree with Bill, the best harness I've used.

I bought one from cabelas and tried hanging from it. The waist strap came up high around my chest. Could not adjust to stop it. My gorilla was much more comfortable when hanging, could hang for a long time (more of a seating position when hanging). And the loggy is way to heavy, metal seatbelt buckle to noisy,it is tangle free but my gorilla isn't that bad and it's light and quiet.

Take a look at the Hunter Safety Systems Vest. They are a little pricey, but I think its worth the difference. Very good adjustments and easy on and off.

I got one that just hangs out and does not get tangled.  That is a HUGE asset.

I lose my mind with all the dang equiptment I have with this simple sport. Trying to get my harness oriented took me over the edge. I was like McMurphy in " One flew over the cookoo nest", Only electric shock and thorazine brought me around. It was a fall hunt and I woke up hearing Christmas Carols...

I recently hunted with Whip in WI and he had a safety rope with prusik knot at each stand, even ladder stands. I can't tell you how much safer I felt with solid attachment from the time I left the ground till I was back on terra firma. I am setting them up on all my stands. Here's a how to link
