On the St Judes Auction one of the items up for bid was a quilting service donated by David Posalski (can't remember his sign on). My wife Dianne won the bid. We had to buy the materials but it was going to be put together by David's wife and grandmother. Quilting is more complicated than one would think and the right material, batting and border material first has to be chosen, then choose one of hundreds of patterns. It also takes quite a while to lay one out and stitch it up.
Anyhow the quilt came in this week and it is a thing of beauty. The Posalski's did a wonderful job. Just look at the beautiful stitching that runs throughout the border. Talk about craftsmanship
Thanks David and Family :notworthy:
The kids won, we won. St Judes is a won-derful thing! :clapper:

I do believe that is (to me) one of the prettiest, and most striking, quilts I have ever seen (and I've seen a bunch of them, especially in New England). Fantastic work and great choice of colors! Another St. Judes Auction coup. :jumper:
Very nice ! My wife quilts, a lot.. so I know what work goes into making something like that. Looks like the wait was worth it.
