From my experience it doesn't make a very good string, OK for kids bows.

I was thinking of making it 3 ply, do you think that will help Eric? Next week I will be ordering  some stuff from 3rivers. fletch jig, b-50 (Brown & Tan) beeswax. I have server string.

experience will tell you that it will stretch...like forever.....lol It looks good but doesn't live up to its looks. I've even made it and hung weights on it to get all the stretch out I could but it never failed to continue to strect once it was put on the bow.
My 2 cents!
God bless,Mudd
