Thought I'd share a mildly humourous story.
Our 5th wedding anniversary was last week. According to the etiquette gods, that is designated as a "wood" anniversary.
Both of us were confounded as to what kind of present to get the other. I quickly gave up in exasperation due to a total lack of inspiration on my part, and decided to take my wife out for dinner instead.
This evening, she handed me an envelope with a card and a wooden clothespin hand-written with "happy 5th anniversary". My immediate response, aside from laughter, was to thank her for the thoughtful gift and also to enquire how she knew that I needed a draw length indicator.
The clothespin now sits in my tackle box with all of my other arrow mending tools.
Nice story.
Tomorrow is our anniversary. Were are headed to northern Michigan for some hunting. She told me the 7th one is wool. I said well lets get matching Kromers... she said ok. So we will be stopping by Jays Sporting Goods on the way by to find our Kromers!
Stay safe
Congratulations!! Don't understand the confounded part though. Hint- NEW BOWS are often made of wood. LOL! Hope you have many more happy years together!!
Yeah! I was primed for seeing bow pics. Happy anniversary anyway!
Congratulations!!! My first with my new wife is December 5.
for my 5th I made my wife a arrow w/ a knapped arrow head, Wild Turkey feathers, selfnock She loved it...
Not to bust this but where is the best place to buy matching Krommers... :)
