Title: nanner feathers
Post by: 702plmo on November 20, 2007, 09:48:00 PM
I have seen alot different feather cuts on this sight.  The one that caught my eye was a long bannana feather.  The feather looked to be a low profile cut.   Is there a supplier for these or are they custom cut.  I would like to try some.  any info on these feather is welcome.  Thanks

I just cut my own! I got a chopper from a tradganger(thanks wudstix)and some whole feathers.
Look at foxfire archery---they are a sponsor here.  www.arrowsbykelly.com (http://www.arrowsbykelly.com)  they will get you some if you want.

Foxfire/Arrows by Kelly (a sponsor here)if you can ever get them to respond.... I couldn't, and had to take my business elsewhere - would have liked to support the sponsors.

check out the    Vario Clipper (http://www.eternal-archery.de/us/index.html)   (feather chopper) ...they've got tons of styles of blades.      herb (http://www.herbsarchery.com/)  has them and I believe hes a sponsor here.

for the past ten years I've been scissor cutting my own after adhering them to the shafts, but after borrowing a friends chopper a couple weeks ago, I think I'll be investing in one shortly.
