Title: True story
Post by: Cherokee Scout on November 20, 2007, 08:12:00 PM
I was standing at a local compound shop here in north Alabama a week ago and a guy pulls in the lot with a trailer on the back of his pick up. On the trailer was his 4 wheeler and an African Kudu skull and horns.
The skull still had some hair on it. The guy said he was just leaving his treestand on his way out of the woods and he spotted it on the ground near his stand. The horns were about 3-4 long!
I wonder how they got there.

Maybe thieves ditched it there after stealing it from a taxidermist or hunter.

Maybe he hunts in Texas, you never know what will show up here.3 years ago I shot what I thought was the ugliest whitetail doe I`d ever seen. Turned out to be a Sika doe. 4 days ago I was watching over a oat field on a neighbors place and 15 Axis deer walked out. Man were they magnificent. Hope to get a shot at one.
