What is your favorite longbow with a recurve grip? I have a 66" Stewart slammer 3 piece, but I can't get used to a lower wrist grip. I am thinking of something in the 62-66" range. Thanks for any input. BOB
I think it would be hard to beat the Morrison Shawnee.
Brackenbury Non-Typical. Pictured is a 66"

Border Harrier or A&H 3 piece.
Bob ,
Check out the Hummingbird longbow line , easy to shoot and you can trade off between recurve and longbow fairly easy .

That Brackenbury is a sweet lookin bow.
I really like the Centaur's.
Morrison Shawnee with Dakota or Cougar Limbs is my favorite too!
I'm the same way. I can't hit anything with a low wrist bow and struggled shooting with most LB's. I shot a bud's Morrison Dakota a while back and could shoot that bow as well as my recurves.

Morrison Shawnee
Well, Leon's bows are hard to beat not matter what the grip. That said, Bob Lee has the recurve grip on their longbows. I actually moved to one from a Stewart longbow and Rob Lee modified the grip (for free) to make it closer to what I was used to. They have several different grips.
I will throw in the Crow Creek 3pc Black Feather.

This is what a Firefly with the high grip looks like. Extremely smooth bows.

There are some awesome looking bows there. I hope to try some of them at the TRAD EXPO in January. I don't know much about the CROW CREEK,FIREFLY or MIKUTA,but they look as nice as anything else out there. Thanks for the replies

Another vote for Bob Lee...
Sky Rogue by Earl Hoyt. Jr.
Great bow.
Three Morrison Shawnees hanging here so you know both mine and my son's choice. Bob can just about give you whatever grip you like.
Habu VyperKahn. It's a 3 piece TD with a recurve type grip. It is a great shooting bow with the best craftsmanship I have seen. Jim.
Can't wait to get my hands on Dave's new Silvertip 3 pc longbow-It has to be a winner-It's a Silvertip :)
