If you are interested in this new shaft, look at the sponsors classifieds (SRTA).
Thanks John
I think this will be great for the light weight shooters. The problem I've had with carbons for my wife is that by the time I add enough weight to get them to spine she is shooting about 20 grains per pound.
When I talked to Sipsey River last they said they wouldn't be available until next year. Has something changed?
i would love to see this spine. i have the heritage 150's and still a bit stiff with 125-150 grains up front. i had to go with 250 gr tips to get good flight. with the shafts very heavy at 10.0gr per inch, this was just to heavy overall for longer range shooting, which i like to do. it make those 25 yard and under shots seem easy. a 90 spine heritage will be in my quiver! i am shooting super light gold tip 35-55 with 250 gr tips and i love the high FOC for penatration but there just not as durable as heritage shafts.
This is Sipsey River. CX first expected them after the first of the year. I have been informed this week, they now expect them to be available by Christmas!
The spine is .530, A gold Tip 3555 is about.500
I can hardly wait!
yeah i'm excited about this shaft.
i have been wanting to try a CX shaft for about a year. my bows are 45-49# and have gotten the vibe that the 150 shaft could/maybe work. but this 90 shaft sounds perfect!
Sign me up for a dozen John!
I had some incorrect info listed on the Sponsors Classifieds concerning the weight of these shafts. The weight will be about 9.4 gr/inch, not 8.5.
