Hey all,
I thought it would be nice to see some old trad pics that would bring back memories. Here is one of my Dad, and my Uncle with a deer my Dad shot in the late 50's. My Dad is on the left, and my Uncle is on the right. (http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p286/deerslayer1961/traddad_1_1.jpg)

That's a wonderful picture, Mike.

My memory of the '50s.
Now how in the world did he ever shoot that deer with no camo and that bright white bow?

We just had a thread a short while back with a lot of old pic's:
Old Duffers were young once. (http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=39;t=000229)
It's a pretty cool thread.
Tom,
It's funny how today we need the best camo, and scent blocking sprays, and clothing to shooy a deer, and back then they hunted with plain everyday clothes on. Look at my Uncle, he looks like he's dressed for a dance......
Mike
theres a pretty good article in the most recetn issue of tbm, that talks about how that our tactics(camo and such), have evolved with the deer that we hunt. Good read.
thanks for sharing the pic
