I've been looking at old post today about POC arrows but I came acrossed some post about the Grizzlystik Alaskan arrows and it started me thinking if these would work for my setup. My bow is a Chekmate Attlia 47#@28 I'm wondering if a Alaskan with the 75gr brass insert 100gr-125gr steel adapter and 135gr-160gr magnus I head is going to be over spine and if not, is the total arrow weight going to be to much? I'm figuring the arrows at 11gpi @ 30" for 330gr then with the heads and feathers it shoul total around 640gr to 715gr
I figured if I cant get them to tune and fly good I can just put the aside till I buy another bow with a 60# draw here shortly.
I would think you would do better with the Sitka shafts :0)
The only reason I'm not wanting to go with the sitka is because I've heard the arnt worth a crap, to fragle. If I did want a strong arrow like the Alaskan I would just shoot goldtips.
