Anybody have any pictures of riser inlays? I am specifically looking for somethng like TJ Conrads had in Traditional Bowhunter a few issues back, with the bird foot.... I am wanting to inlay an arrowhead I found when I was young (now where is that thing?)... some cool mojo there, hunting the same ground as a brother of the bow did so many years ago. Also, any idea of what to "glue" it in with? I am sure I can figure out how to carve/router/etc. out the spot.... but not entirely sure what to glue her in with... smooth on? Thanks!
Mike
Ill bet that bar top epoxy will work for you.Its hard as glass and very clear.

Mike here is one I did for a friend a few years back. I used 5 min epoxy. Hasn't moved. Good luck, and lets see pics when you get it done.

Steadman, thats the idea! LOVE that Centaur! If I remember right Rob, Jim did that and he swore off doing them again after yours.... otherwise I'd be having him put in an elk antler on my March(ish) delivery time....not familiar with "bar top epoxy". have to look into that.

Mike, he told me he wouldn't use the same guy for anymore inlays. Maybe he could find someone else?
He did say that he would continue to do wood inlays.
Best of luck.
boy the bird foot bow seems like it's been around forever.....
