I spent a few hours Saturday morning at my local range at the Airforce Academy in Colorado Springs. I try getting there at least once a week when uncle same allows me. I believe there is a total of 56 targets in the entire place. Lane one and two consist of regular targets at known distances out to 80 yards. Lane three consist of 2D animal targets out to 65 yard, also known distances. Lane four also 2D animal targets, but distance is unknown. The 3D lane is all unknown, and the target distances are changed weekly to keep you on your toes. Im usually pretty worn out by the end, but it really test my skills.
Enjoy,

Casey,
Looks like a blast! What bow are you shooting?
Don't know if I could shoot them long distances, I'd probably loose too many arrows. :bigsmyl:
Re-size your pix please....no wider than 640!
Thanks for the pics, and it sure does look like your haveing a blast.
Alan

Sorry about the pic size. I'll see what I can do about resizeing . Im not to computer savy...
Thanks for the comments.
The bow is a 60" 55# RER Arroyo. I lost two arrows that day. One by hitting a rock over a 3D doe's back and the other by hitting the rebar in a 3D hog's leg. Both those arrows are now 1" shorter. LOL
You are very lucky to have such a great place to shoot--enjoy it!
Wow that looks like a really fun time. Beautiful bow to!
Thanks for the great pics! They bring back plenty of memories as I spent countless hours on that range between the years '97 to '01. Lots of good times were had there, and (at least at the time) it was the perfect getaway for me and a few other cadets that loved to shoot. Good on ya man, I miss that place.

GREAT pics! Id be out there every chance I could!! WHERE did you get that fanny pack????
I could use one like that
Thanks,
Its a Badlands nano pack. I got it from sagecreekoutfitters. Nice yearly season pack when not much gear is needed.
Casey
Man, that's a wicked cool looking range. Wish we had something like that around here. Sweet looking bow as well, looks like you've got it together.
Yeah, real nice range. Would love to have one of those around here.
Casey looks like great fun!! Told ya about those RERs, great bows and I would kill to have a place to shoot like that!! Looks like a lot of fun!! Keep up that shooting and pick one of those bows and shoot nothing else for a while, you will be amazed at how good ya get. Shawn
