I got a new used bow coming next week, I picked up a Chek-Mate Attila 47#@28" from Scattershot here on the classifeds.
I was wondering what you guys think would be the best spine arrow for this type of bow. I pull right at 28" so if it pulls as marked I should be pulling 47# I'm either going to use some carbon, I'm thinking CE 150's with 150gr to 200gr heads would be good or some woodies with I'm guessing 60-65# spine with the same weight heads. But probably go with the carbons for durability.
Huntnut,
I can tell you what I use on mine. IT's 50# @ 26". It shots Gamegetter II's 1916 and 2016 cut to 27.25' about the same with 125 grain points. I am using the 2016's for 145 grain broad heads. Plus it gives me a little added wieght.
With your longer draw I would start with the 2016's. You might even need stiffer. Cuase of the arrow length. I am guessing you are going to cut around 29" +.. Back of point.
And to confuse the issue a little more. My wood arrows are a 55 - 59 spine cut to 27.25" with 125 grain points. Does not seem to be that picky of a bow.

If ya go with the 150 you will need to leave it long, at least 30"s and go with more than 200 up front. Shawn
Thanks for the help guys. Anyone got an idea about what size woodies.
