I was looking at the rivers edge bows and it seems to me that the static recurve tips would be more efficient than working tips for a short draw (under 27"). Can anyone who shoots one or anyone who knows about ins and outs of static tips give me some info.
Great bowws, buy the arroyo. It is quick quiet and easier to hit with than their 3 piece. I shoot the 54"er and draw over 28"s almost 29 and it is the best bow I have shot. I have shot well over a hundred in the last 7-8 years. Shawn
In our club we have at least 10 people shooting RER bows and everyone has been very happy. My son is one of there happy recurve customers. I have there new longbow and love it.
Real shooters all of them. The staic tips let even the guys with longer draws shoot short bows with no pinch. Drop the string on one and see for yourself you won't be sorry you did.
will the 54 inch work with my 29 1/2 draw?twice this year i missed my chance due to limbs hitting stand in a big hurry to get the shot off i was not a happy camper.maybe if i was better prepared it would not have happened, but thats huntin.
2 dogs shootin a 54"Arroyo with a 29 1/2" draw would be no problem. Lots of long draw guys shootin them. Like Shawn!
thanx now if i could find someone in central pa to let me shoot one.well i got to wait on the tax man in the spring to give me my cut back.
PA boys who has one the man can test shoot?
The arroyo is the one I like. Does anyone with a short draw shoot one.
Yeah, I draw 29"s and the bow I have will handle 31"s. It may stack a bit at 31"s but if it does I cannot tell, the nice thing is the statics open up and act almost like a let-off and help increase the length ya can draw. I myself prefer the Arroyo as its design is less critical of release and flaws in your form. I will be getting a 58"er in the near future. Shawn
if you decide to sell that 54 let me know
Arroyo 100%
I just ordered two more of them. I started with a 60" and as of 5 minutes ago I got a 58" and 54". Its too drk outside to really play, but I did shoot a few through both. That 54" is just plane AWSOME.
Keep your eyes open tomorrow for an old thread I started. I'll be updating it with pics and a short take on the two new ones. Take Shawns advice. I did, and I'm VERY greatful.

RER is relativly new in the sceen, but I dont think there is a better deal on the market. Im constanly getting compliments on how nice, smooth, quiet, and fast my first Arroyo is at my local league shoot. Im the only RER owner there, but not for long.....
I gotta give a thanks too EVERYONE who recommended the RER line to me, especially Kevin and Sue for there OUTSTANDING customer service.

Sndmn11,
On the way
i have a 27" draw and had a 60" Arroyo that I really liked. I shot the 54" Arroyo this past spring and I think I liked it even better. Go one coming in January. Should make a great Turkey Blind and cornstalking bow.
