If you live in the central Ohio area, and have a desire to build custom bows full time and become a part of Morrison Archery. Please get in touch with me ASAP.
Bob
this is a dream job...I'd take it and relocate in a new york minute, but I've never built a lam bow....dag gummit
Holy cow! Talk about opportunity knocking. Someone is going to be a very lucky person.
Good thing my wife doesn't know what I'm reading on tradgang! Brian Halbleib got me started after the trad expo last spring in Wheeling. I've been hinting to my wife that I'm thinking of quitting my regular job. I wish I was serious...
Someone is gonna get real lucky...
sometimes you are just a couple of states off...
how about you move your shop to indiana??? lol
Bob, You need to send a ticket to hera in Taiwan. That guy has potential for sure. You see his build-a-long?
I have been looking for a career change. I have never lived outside of Louisiana before. Bet it can't be that much different...can it?
B.
Wow now that's a job ad. I'm gonna take it you need experience for this?
Even don't want to think i saw this ad !
Bow building full time , that's great !
Eric .
Now thats a dream job there.
I have been to bobs shop ,he is a wealth of knolge of building bows.bobs building a bow for my brothernlaw right now.this is a golden opportunity for somebody. :archer:
can I keep my house in Alaska? dont want to give up my resident status here ;)
Experience would be a big help. And to relocate is going to be tough for anyone out of this area. And the wages are not that good starting out. We work as a team, everyone has his or her job to do and can overlap on procedures. I have had a couple good PMs already. This is a business that I hope will be here longer that I will, so there are lots of possibilities. Bob
I can tell ya Bob is one heck of a nice guy too. I've sat around/enjoyed a number of campfires with him and never met anyone who hasn't enjoyed his company, given the chance. Hope ya find a good'un, Bob.
Looks like we we are at a dead end again, Some real good bowyers, but to far away. Thanks for all that showed an interest. I'll just have to keep things as they are for know. I do have a 12 year old grandson, maybe????.
Miss Kim told me "absolutely not" or you'd have a new asisstant Bob. It'd be tough though having a helper who bought every bow he built...maybe that's why she said no
JC, You need to sweet talk her a little more, Tell her about all the big bucks here, she will think your talking dollars :) And your in until she finds out the bucks are running around in the woods.... Better stay where you are, at least you can afford a new bow every once in awhile. I would like to have you here, it is fun. Bob
With the number of Bob's bow's limbs and merchandise I have laying in my shop, I have been mistaken for morrison archery.Don't need a salesman do ya Bob?As much as I brag on Bob's Bow's I've been thinking about sending a commission request.LOL Good luck Bob.I would love to learn your trade and business.Just can't :)
Bob,
Ferret is only 2-3 hours away from you. Maybe he knows some folks who might be interested.
What an opportunity for someone. Learning or working on a work of art like Bob's bows would be rewarding work.
Engineer in IL.........but wish I was able to change paths. Like most, probably stuck doing what I do and where I am till I retire.
Best of luck Bob!
Regards,
Bill
I have little experiance, but if I lived there, I'd help, just learning under a master bowyer would be cool
Hey Bob, I'm semi-retired now so I might as well go all the way  Heck I still have valid Ohio Veterinary licence from the 70's! Maybe even include a matching knife with new bows...guess that's how pipe dreams start :bigsmyl: Doc
This would be a dream job if i was only three hours closer. Wonder if the wife would mind me quitting my job and putting the house up for sale? :knothead:
