Post by: JrsyBowHunter on November 27, 2008, 07:23:00 PM
Hello all, i will be recieving my morrison dakota long bow next week and would like some help deciding on arrows, the bow is 55# at 27 inch draw and that is my exact draw length, would like to stick with aluminum arrows but will take suggestions for carbon also.

I shoot Gold Tip Traditional Hunters, they look like wood but are Carbon. Extremely tough, straight and shoot great. I use a small BH and add the weight to the insert I think you would shoot the 5575 size.  Good Luck

hey you should shoot both aluminum and carbon. what you could do is put 75/95 carbon shaft's inside your 2020's and put about 2500 grain's out front that should work great for ya steve!!

Steve:
In aluminum cut 28" BOP I would suggest 2020 a 2018 might work but I think it could be a little weak, it will depend on point weight keep it light. Carbon's I know nothing about.
