Title: PA bowseason gone now BEAR!
Post by: longbowman on November 13, 2007, 03:11:00 PM
Just was wondering if any of my PA Tradgangers were heading out for bear next week using their bows?  My son and I will be in Stare GL 86 with ours.  Really looking forward to it!  I shot a huge bear from the ground while living in Montana hunting from the ground and making a long stalk on him so would like to repeat in PA if I could.

I'll be out there, but I only get 3 days in my zone. I have to pass the first couple days.

Good luck to you tradgangers going for PA bear.  I really wanted to, but not enought time, didn't go scouting, na na na na nahhh...  A trad bear on the ground is kind of the ultimate... especially in PA.  Good luck and let us know if you see anything.

No bear for me, just started a new job on Monday. I'll be lucky to make it out for the late season.

I'll be out there the next 2 days.  Hunting in the Sproul State Forest and SGL 89.  Thursday should be better for stalking with rain expected the night before. However, have to see one first - the proverbial needle in the haystack!
